DVD – This family-friendly, animated flick shows what our pets are doing while we’re not looking. Louis C.K. plays Max, a terrier that lives an easy life in New York City. But his world is upended when his owner adopts Duke, a gigantic, rowdy dog. Afraid that his owner will love the newcomer more, Max sets out to get rid of Duke – but soon finds himself lost in the city with his new housemate. Before long, the two dogs are trapped in the pound, surrounded by feral pets, strays, and other unwanted animals. Led by a bunny named Snowball, the strays are revolutionaries that are planning to take down pet owners. Meanwhile, Max’s friends set out to find him and bring him home. An always charming and exciting movie, The Secret Life of Pets will enchant kids and grown-ups alike.
