In this reimagining of Pokemon Yellow, you will start off as a new trainer in the Kanto region, with 150 Pokemon to discover and catch. Your starter Pokemon will be Eevee, and it can ride on your head during your journey. Rather than a straight remaster, Let’s Go, Eevee! includes new features and gameplay changes to enhance the game. Instead of battling wild Pokemon, you’ll now use a throwing mechanic inspired by the Pokemon Go mobile game. But don’t worry, you’ll still need to battle other trainers, gym leaders, and even legendary Pokemon! HM moves have been replaced with Ride Pokemon and Secret Techniques. You can ride flying or water Pokemon to get around the map, and your partner Pokemon can use special skills to help you overcome obstacles. A new local co-op mode lets you play with a friend, who can fight beside you in battle or help you catch Pokemon. The exclusive Pokemon in Let’s Go, Eevee! are Bellsprout, Vulpix, and Meowth.
