DVD – This family movie tells the story of a boy and his dragon. Oakes Fegley plays Pete, a young boy who lives in the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest. Pete was stranded in the ancient woods, until a dragon came to his rescue. Elliot the dragon is kindly, has the power of invisibility, and is the fatherly type. The two create a unique kind of family in the woods, with the dragon raising the orphaned boy. Meanwhile, in the nearby town, legends of a hidden creature are repeated – like people talk about Bigfoot. When a well-meaning forest ranger discovers Pete, she takes him to town, which forces the dragon to either save his friend or stay hidden. Pete’s Dragon is packed with great performances and one of the most impressive CGI creatures ever seen.
